PRIVACY POLICY

The protection of your privacy when using our website is important to us, and we therefore use your data in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations. All employees and business partners of JIPP.IT are obliged to maintain data confidentiality. Our contracted service providers are also obliged to maintain confidentiality and to comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act. Below we inform you about how we handle your data.

PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is information about data subjects whose identity is determined or can be determined. This includes information provided voluntarily, such as name, address, telephone number or e-mail address. You can enter this data on contact and registration pages, for example. Non-personal data is information that cannot be directly linked to your real identity, such as your IP address.

We only collect data from you (except in the context of web server logs) if you provide it to us yourself in order to use one of the services we offer (e.g. sending information material, inquiries, orders, registration for the newsletter, online application, registration for a training course). This data is then processed and/or used exclusively for the performance of the respective service.

WEB AND MAIL SERVER PROTOCOLS

As is usual with almost all websites, the server on which our websites are located (hereinafter referred to as “web server”) automatically collects information in web server logs when you visit us on the Internet. The web server automatically recognizes certain non-personal data, such as your IP address, the date and time you visited our website, the pages you visited on our website, the website you visited previously, the browser you are using (e.g. Mozilla Firefox), the operating system you are using (e.g. Windows) and the domain name and address of your Internet provider (e.g. UPC). If our website uses cookies, the web server also stores this information. We regularly evaluate these server logs so that we can determine which pages of our website are being visited. This gives us a more precise idea of how our website is used and how we can further optimize our offering. In addition, in the event of system misuse, we may use this information in cooperation with your Internet provider and/or the local authorities to identify the perpetrator of this misuse. An individual profile of your usage behavior does not take place. Personal reference cannot be derived from this and the data is not passed on to third parties, even in excerpts. This data is not merged with other data sources. Additional personal details such as name, address, telephone number or e-mail address are not collected unless you provide this information voluntarily, for example as part of an inquiry, order or registration.

COOKIES

We use session cookies on our website. The data is not stored permanently. The use of time-limited cookies serves to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. The cookies are automatically deleted when the browser is closed. They do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses or malware.

Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser to notify you as soon as cookies are sent.

INTEGRATION OF THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND CONTENT

On the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR), we use content or service offers from third-party providers within our online offer, such as videos or fonts (hereinafter uniformly referred to as “content”). This always presupposes that the third-party providers of this content are aware of the user’s IP address, as they would not be able to send the content to their browser without the IP address. The IP address is therefore required to display this content. We endeavor to only use content whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. Third-party providers may also use so-called pixel tags (invisible graphics, also known as “web beacons”) for statistical or marketing purposes. “Pixel tags” can be used to analyze information such as visitor traffic on the pages of this website. The pseudonymous information may also be stored in cookies on the user’s device and may contain, among other things, technical information about the browser and operating system, referring websites, time of visit and other information about the use of our online offer and may also be linked to such information from other sources.

The following presentation provides an overview of third-party providers and their content, together with links to their data protection declarations, which contain further information on the processing of data and, in some cases already mentioned here, options for objection (so-called opt-out):
